Fairy Lights are the Best Alternative to Candles
Also, fairy lights are a great way to light up your reception or ceremony space when you cannot use candles.
Some venues do not allow candles during your ceremony or reception. So, fairy lights are a great substitution to set a warm and romantic ambiance.

Fairy Light Wedding Centerpiece Tutorial
What You Will Need:
- Foam Board from Dollar Tree
- Glass Cylinder Vase from Dollar Tree

- Double-Sided Tape From Dollar Tree
- 2 x Rose Bushes From Dollar Tree

Step 1: Create A Base for Lighted Wedding Centerpieces
Take a piece of foam board and your glass cylinder vase for your lighted wedding centerpieces.

Trace the vase’s circumference onto the foam board by using a pen or pencil.

Cut out the circle using a box cutter.

Remove excess foam off the rim of the circle.
Poke a hole into the center of the circle.

And thread the fairy light through until you reach the plastic end.

Step 2: Attach the PowerBox onto Base for Battery Operated Lighted Centerpieces
Take some double-sided tape.

And place it onto one side of the fairy light power box.

With the tape side down, attach the power box to our circle. Apply a little bit of pressure to hold them together.

Step 3: Decorate Centerpieces With Lights and Flowers
Trim your flowers, leaving about half an inch of the stem in place.

There are two ways to attach the flower to the circle. You can push the stem through the foam board, which I found more difficult.

Or you can poke a hole by using your box cutter then inserting the stem through.

Once you have surrounded the power box with flowers, take some double-sided tape to attach the flowers to the top of the power box.

Hold for a few seconds to bind them together.

Assemble the Fairy Light Centerpieces
Fill the base of your vase with about a cup of white marble stone.

Next are your fairy lights.

Then, gently place the floating flower base on top.

You can tape this down for a more secure fit.
Optional Step
Take some Acrylic Crystal Beads.
And tuck it between the flowers. Allow some pieces to hang off the sides to add a little glam.
